Sparks Introduces the Big Find at Sparksonline.com

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Sparks, an award-winning global event marketing agency, is proud to unveil its redesigned corporate website, located at www.sparksonline.com, and will mark the occasion with the introduction of an online scavenger hunt.

After an extensive research survey probing brand marketers on what they look for in an event agency website, Sparks redesigned the site to be high-energy, easy to navigate and informative. Overall, the site has a fresh look capitalizing on the company's "clean and simple" branding strategy and is written in a light and fun tone reflective of the company's culture. For site visitors, this means an easy and enjoyable online experience offering more content in less time.

Sparks director of marketing Kristy Elisano led the redesign efforts. The goal of the redesign, she says, was to make the site more functional for a wide variety of target users by simplifying the content and reducing the time it takes busy marketers to find specific information.

"In addition to being visually appealing, the entire site is searchable and provides the user with multiple ways to learn about us and the services we provide," states Elisano. "The simplified four-step navigation provides quick and easy access while sub-navs allow those with more time to dive deeper into specific elements. With the exception of the rich educational component, the entire site is meant to peak your interest and provide a clear company overview in under five minutes."

The site is now divided into four areas:

  • Company & Culture - A witty overview of the inner workings of the company.
  • Products & Services - Case study presentations of the company's offerings.
  • Insights & Education - Nuggets of industry focused educational information.
  • Contact Us - An interactive globe of company contacts.

The site also provides access to the many Thought Leadership initiatives that Sparks has built for the industry, namely Tech-EM.com (the only online portal dedicated to event marketing in the tech sector) and Event-Rx.com (the most-trafficked online destination for healthcare event marketing information), as well as a learning center full of webinars and white papers. "With the increasing demands and time restraints of our clients, it's more important than ever to provide a continuous customer touchpoint that's engaging, entertaining and educational," says Elisano.

In an effort to promote the redesigned site, the company is introducing an online scavenger hunt deemed the Big Find.  Prizes to be won include four Apple Ipod Touches and a single Bonus Round prize of a Macbook Air. Winners will be drawn weekly from entrants who play by searching Sparksonline.com to correctly answer five questions and submit their answers in a prepared online form.  A new set of questions will be released by email each Tuesday morning at 10am EST for 4 weeks. One weekly winner will be selected at random each Friday at 5pm EST from all submissions containing five correct answers. Winners will be notified by email and posted in the news ticker of Sparksonline.com each Monday morning.  The Bonus question will remain the same each week. Each correct answer counts as one entry in the Bonus Round. The Bonus Round winner will be randomly selected from all submissions containing the correct answer on the last Friday of the competition. The contest begins Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 and concludes August 1st, 2008.
