Palm Treo 700p Smartphone Summer Launch Series

Challenge:

Design, produce and manage a series of private launch parties in six cities over two weeks.

Solution:

Highlighting the Smartphone's main attributes and features: speed, integration and acceleration, the event was set up like a racetrack with attendees moving through each area in a game-like fashion, answering trivia questions, watching demos and playing games, and were awarded performance chips for participating. Chips were redeemed at the Finish Line for a number of prizes that ranged in scale and value.

Performance:

An Event Marketer magazine Silver EX Award winner, the series drew more than 1,700 attendees, surpassing the company's target goal, garnering increased product awareness and quality leads.
