“We never expected this...we are absolutely blown away. Thank you, Sparks, for an extraordinary effort, an amazing production, and a group of professionals we are proud to partner with.”

| Show: | International Vision Expo East 2008 |
|---|---|
| Location: | Jacob Javits Center, New York, NY |
| Challenge: | Design, engineer and fabricate a visually impactful 10,400 sq. ft. exhibit that showcases Safilo's 32 world-class brands, has a functional and inviting selling environment and delivers a sense of drama and excitement. |
| Solution: | Sparks produced an experience that was sexy, practical and on-brand. Integrated lighting structures highlighted products in multiple brand anchor areas. Meeting spaces and private conference rooms were strategically placed throughout the environment. A hospitality bar wrapped an elevated platform with embedded plasma screens showcasing multiple brand stories. Four times a day, the platform transformed into a high-end fashion show runway. Hosted by Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"), the show featured 14 models, including "America's Next Top Model" winner Saleisha Stowers, and used live image magnification on seamless plasma screen walls and MiStrip LED surfaces to enhance the multi-media experience. |
| Performance: | Produced in 90 days, the final exhibit had a stylish and dynamic presence, resolved storage and security issues from past shows, and dominated the show floor. Safilo executives reported that Vision 2008 was the most successful show in their exhibiting history. Download case study for Safilo |
